A blues singing mama; Katy Soljak's sound is described as a blend of
Melissa Etheridge and Bessie Smith. After performing in USA for 10
years she has settled on Waiheke Island and formed a band with local
legends including Mano Pratt on guitar. The Katy Soljak Band performs
regularly at Jazz and Blues Festivals throughout NZ and released their
original blues CD; 'Morning Rain Blues,' in 2007. The band were well
received at Blues Brews and BBQs in Mt Maunganui and at the 'Waiheke
Winter Blues Festival’ 2010, which also featured the first reunion of
the original 'Ladies Sing the Blues.' The Blues ladies are back by

Roger Manins has been branded one of the most exciting and explosive

career based in Sydney, Roger now lives in Auckland and continues
to tour regularly in Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia.

This virtuoso trio, playing a wide range of styles from jazz, through
blues and Latin, to Kiwi and Celtic, will amaze, lift audiences
spirits, move their bodies and make them smile. Vocalist Sue Pugmire’s
range swings from sweet and soulful, to bluesy and raunchy. Stephanie
Hunter can seemingly make her violin do anything, while guitarist,
